Travelling on the M50, take Exit 15 signposted Kilternan. Follow signs for Kilternan and you will be directed onto a new Link Road ‘Glenamuck District Roads Scheme Project (GDRS). Travel straight through several crossroads and eventually the road brings you back onto the old R117 Dundrum/Enniskerry road. Knockrose is situated 1 mile away on the Scalp, slightly below and on the opposite side of the Ski Club of Ireland slopes.

Travelling from Enniskerry: after 2 miles you will pass through The Scalp, a steep v-shaped valley. You will pass 2 houses on the left-hand side of the road (the 2nd one has a garage Leonards Motor Services) and then Knockrose is the first entrance on the Right (concealed, and immediately after a sharp right-hand bend).

Travelling from Kilternan, it is the first concealed entrance on the left after passing by The Ski Club of Ireland slopes on the Right. (just after the 60km sign and approaching a sharp left-hand bend).
